የዋጋ ንረት እና ልጆች የመውለድ መጠን ምን ግንኙንት አላቸው?

2022 ላይ በቱርክ በተደረገ አንድ ጥናት የዋጋ ንረት በአንድ ከመቶ ሲጨምር የወሊድ መጠን በ0.035% ይቀንሳል (ተቃራኒ ግንኙነት አላቸው ማለት ነው)። ወላጆች የመኖሪያ ወጪ ሲጨምርባቸው ተጨማሪ ልጆች ለመውለድ ያላቸው ፍላጎት ይቀንሳል እንደማለት ነው።

የቤተሰብ ቁጥር ከገቢ መጠን ጋር ቀጥተኛ ግንኙነት እንዳለው ብዙ ጥናቶች አሉ (ቤተሰቦች ገቢያቸው እያደገ ሲሄድ የቤተሰብ ቁጥራቸውን ለመጨመር ይወስናሉ ለማለት ሲሆን ውስን ተቃራኒያዊ ውጤት የሚታይበትም ጥናትም አለ)።

በኢትዮጵያ የዋጋ ንረት ለረጅም  ዓመታት የመጨመር ባህሪ አለው! ለምሳሌ ያህል ብናይ የህዝብ ቁጥር እድገት ከ2018 እስከ 2022 ድረስ በአማካይ ከ2.5 እስከ 2.7 የደረሰ በማደግ መለዋወጥ እንዳለው Projection ቢሆንም የህዝብ ትሬንድ ላይ ያሳያል! ከዚህ በመነሳት  በኢትዮጵያ የዋጋ ንረት የህዝብ ቁጥር እድገት ሁኔታ ላይ ተፅዕኖው ደካማ ነው የሚል Hypothesis ለማስቀመጥ ያስደፍራል? (ለውይይት ያህል ነው!)።

ሌላው Hypothesis እንደ ግለሰብ እና ቤተሰብ በመጪው ጊዜ የኢኮኖሚ ሁኔታ ለውጥ ላይ መተማመን ሲቀንስ የአሁንን ሃይል በማሰብ የቤተሰብ ቁጥር መጨመርን ከዋጋ ንረት ጋር ያለማጣበቅ ባህሪ ሊኖር ይችላል።

ጥሩ የጥናት ሃሳብ የሚሆን ይመስለኛል! የዋጋ ንረት እና የህዝብ ቁጥር እድገት ግንኙነቱን በTime series መረጋገጥ ቢቻልም የመጨመርም ሆነ የመቀነስ ምክንያቱን በDescriptive ማወቅ የሚቻል ይመስለኛል።
