Also In the first nine months of the year, the country earned 156.7 Million dollars from exporting textile, leather and leather products manufacturing sector in industrial parks. It is 70 percent from the planned 223 million dollar.

According the Ethiopian investment commission, covid, labor uncertainty, the abolition of Ethiopian from the AGOA, lack of foreign exchange, a rise in logistics costs were the main reasons for the decline.
