Roba Megersa, the long serving CEO of ESL left his post as of today March 31, 2023.
The logistics guru was Deputy Director General at Ethiopian Maritime Authority (EMA) before he was appointed as CEO of ESL in May 2017.
Roba, a lawyer by profession, is one of the few Ethiopians that graduated from International Maritime Law Institute (IMLI) of International Maritime Organization, a UN agency, on International Maritime Law and International Trade Law.
Roba is replaced by Berisso Amalo.
In related news Yehualashet Jemere, Director General of EMA, who served the logistics authority for a little over one year, is now replaced by Abdulber Shemsu.
