Description: Duties and Responsibilities Checking prescriptions to answer that there are no error and that they are appropriate and safe for the individual patient;
Providing advice on the dosage of medication and the most appropriate form of medication for example tablet injections ointment or inhaler;
Participate in ward rounds taking patient during histories and involvement in decision-making on appropriate treatments;
Liaising with other medical staffs on problems patients may experience when taking their medicines;
Discussing treatment with patients, relatives community pharmacy and GPS;
Ensuring medicines are stored appropriately and securely;
Supervising the work of lose expired and qualified staffs;
Answering questions above medicines from within hospital other hospitals and the general public;
Keeping up to date with and contributing to research and development;
Waiting guidelines for during use within the hospital and implementing hospital regulations;
Providing information on expenditure on drugs Qualifications:
