ROAD - Family affair at the Dubai marathon

Ethiopia's Abdisa Tola (2:05:42 debut) and Dera Dida (2:21:11) claimed the victory in the 2023 Dubai Marathon.

Abdisa Tola is the younger brother of world champion Tamirat Tola, who himself won the Dubai marathon in 2017. As for Dera Dida, the 2019 world cross-country silver medallist who recently returned to competition after a maternity leave, she is Tamirat Tola's wife!
