Contact Center Customer Service Representatives (CSR)

Essential Functions

• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer’s emails
• Provide assistance to customers that need help
• Research and identify customer issues using software resources
• Evaluate customer issues and provide amicable solution
• Provide product and service information to customers
• Generate customer interest in the services and products offered by our company
• Sell products and services to our customers
• Record product sales in our computer systems
• Upsell customers where possible to generate more revenue
• Route calls to appropriate resources based on the issue
• Identify and escalate issues to supervisors
• Document and log call information according to procedures
• Recognize and alert the management team of trends in customer calls
• Build customer loyalty by follow-up of customer calls
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• AS/BS/MS Degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent telephone & customer handling skills (required)
• Excellent communication skill in Amharic and English (required)
• Excellent communication skills in Afan Oromo is a plus
• Previous experience in customer service is a plus
