ቤታቸውንም አፍርሰው ገደሏቸው



የፌዴራል መንግስት በዚህ ጉዳይ ላይ ጣልቃ ካልገባ ብዙ ምስኪን ወገኖቻችን በግፈኞች ያልቃሉ

ቤታቸው የፈረሰባቸው ባልና ሚስት ትላንት ማታ ተገደሉ።

በሰበታ ከተማ በኬንተሪ ደረቶ በሚባል ቦታ የአቶ መሀመድና የጎረቤቶቹ ቤቶች የፈረሱት ከትላንት በስቲያ ነበረ። ሙሉ ሰፈሩ ፈርሶ አልቋል ማለትም ይቻላል። አቶ መሀመድም እዛ ሰፈር ከገባ ወደ 18 አመት አካባቢ ሆኖታል።

ቤት ከፈረሰባቸው ሰዎች መሀከል የአቶ መሀመድ አብደላን ጨምሮ የሁለት ቤተሰብ አባላት ቤታቸዉ ከፈረሰባቸዉ በሆላ የሚሄዱበት አጥተው ተቸግረዋል። ትላንት ከሰአትም አብዛኛው እቃቸውን ወደ ገጠር ከጫኑ በኋላ ሰፈራቸዉ በሚገኝ አንድ ፊኒሽንጉ ያላለቀ የሪልስቴት ፎቅ ግራውንዱ ላይ ቦታ ያለ በመሆኑ በባለቤቱ መልካም ፍቃድ "ቤት እስክታገኙ "እዛ ግቡ" ብሎዋቸዉ ገቡ።

ማታ ፖሊሶች መጥተው እነመሀመድ የተኙበትን የህንፃውን በር መደብደብ ጀመሩ። መሀመድም ማንነታቸውን ለማጣራት በመጠየቅ ላይ እያለ በሩ በሀይል ተሰበረ። በመቀጠልም አቶ መሀመድ አብደላ እንዲሁም ባለቤቱ ለቢባ ጀማል በጥይት ተመቱ ።

ጩኸቱን ሰምታ ከመጡት ጎረቤቶች መሀል አራስ የሆነችው ሉባባ ብላቱ በጥይት ተመታ ስትሞት ባለቤቷ ደግሞ ቆስሏል ።

Dear American Embassy in Addis Ababa,

We write to you with great concern over recent events in Sebeta area of Ethiopia. For the past two decades

Ethiopians who have been legally residing in the area have had their homes demolished by the local government. This has caused much distress and suffering for the affected individuals and families.

Unfortunately, matters have now escalated to a point where police officers have used deadly force against citizens.

We regret to inform you that two elderly Ethiopian nationals lost their lives as a result of this action.

We believe that the federal government has failed in its responsibility to protect its citizens and we urgently request that the American Embassy take immediate action.

We implore you to use your good offices to bring this matter to the attention of the relevant authorities and to exert pressure to ensure that justice is done for those affected.
