Job Title: Backend Developer

Description: We are looking for a Backend developer to join a startup/business and work on developing applications on the server side of the applications. You'll be working with our engineering teams to devise solutions that will impact our customer experience.
Requirements:
Must-have:
● Rigorous NestJS experience
● In-depth understanding of data structures, algorithms, databases, and cache reloading.
● In-depth understanding of TypeScript features including but not limited to dependency injection, enterprise architecture, and modular architecture.
● Knowledge of RESTful API structures and integrating third-party libraries, especially Google Maps API.
● Knowledge and experience in Swagger API design, documentation, and testing.
● Prisma ORM and Prisma Client experience.
● Good technical proficiency using Git, and GitHub.
Preferred:
● Demonstrable project experience
● Postman API testing experience.
● Understanding of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle and being exposed to Scrum projects.
● Comfortable using test cases for debugging code, enhancing performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
● You will be writing readable and clear code for the API using TypeScript that will be extensively documented for consumption by multiple clients, for future use and upgrades.
● You will be sharing feedback and brainstorming ideas with teams to improve the development process.
● Understand and implement advanced concepts in database modeling and design, backend architecture design and implementation, and industry-standard APIs.
● Staying up to date with the latest technologies and security best practices.
● Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Salary: 12,000 – 15,000 depending on experience
