Internship Opportunity for Post-graduate Students in Ethiopia
Part-time internship opportunity for 3 post-graduate students with interest in business and/or entrepreneurship. Priority is given to current post-graduate students, but recent graduates will be considered on an exceptional basis. Women are encouraged to apply.
Opportunity:
- Development and application of data-driven investment analysis / research within the Ethiopian marketplace. Initial phase will be comprised of module-based trainings.
- Opportunity to secure full-time employment upon school completion.
- Flexible time commitment of 10-20 hours per week, including weekends. Schedule will be designed not to interfere with school work.
Location:
- Remote, can work from anywhere within Addis Ababa.
- ZOOM meetings, twice per week. Easy access to a computer is required.
Fields of Study:
- Any major, but preference is given to finance, business, math, engineering, and some math-heavy fields. 3.0+ GPA.
- Chess player is a plus, but not a requirement.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated interest in business and/or entrepreneurship.
- Excellent MS-Excel skills.
- Good command of the English language.
- Attention to detail, punctual, and organized.
Compensation:
- 4,000 birr/month + internet stipend
